Now go back to where you defeated the Whelp and continue moving through this passage. Now manually attack the xaurip and kill it. You will receive a spear for this effort. Go back to the sick xaurip and give it the skuldr meat. Make sure to loot the body for some Skuldr Meat. Keep moving to the southeast to encounter a Skuldr Whelp. For now, move through the doorway to the right and loot the body in front of you to obtain the Engwithan Relief Gem and a tattered journal.

As I did not meet the dexterity requirement, I chose to throw my weapon, as letting Heodan break free on his own meant that he would not make it out alive. You are now given an interactive cut-scene. I then chose the option, which led to another easy fight. The Glanfathan Leader will start a conversation with you. You will see that your camp has been destroyed and only Heodan is left standing. You will have more fighting to do here (1 more hunter). Make sure to collect everything from the bodies before making your way back to your camp. Buy a third from Heodan to unlock the crate at the camp. If you’ve explored all corners of the map before you collect the herb you should have 2 lockpicks. Collect the herb, then have a chat with Calisca, exhausting all dialogue options before heading back to camp. When you are ready, go towards the herb for the quest.
